Moto X4 press renders leak alongside full specs

The announcement of the smartphone can be held 24 August. In North America, Latin America, and Europe, the Moto X4 will be equipped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage.

Last week we got confirmation that some long ago leaked shots of the upcoming Moto X4 did in fact depict the phone's final design, and earlier today the Brazilian equivalent to the US FCC outed quite a number of live images of the prototype that went through its testing. Under its hood, the device will be using a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC paired with different configurations such as 3GB/32GB for the North American, European and Latin American markets and 4GB/64GB for the Asia Pacific markets.

The selfie camera is supposedly designed for taking ultra low-light snaps and takes the help of an Adaptive Low Light mode to do so.

It will be a combination of a 12 MP sensor with dual autofocus, f/2.0 aperture and 1.4µm pixel size and an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 1.12µm pixel size and 120-degree field of view. One possibility is the Moto X4. The company has already announced the Moto Z2 Force, Moto Z2 Play, Moto G5, Moto G5S, Moto C and Moto E4 - and most of these phones also have Plus size variants.

The Moto X4's front-facing camera will also be ideal for vlogging as it will offer 4K video capture at 30 frames per second or full HD video at 60 frames per second (fps). The battery is also a moderate size of 3800 mAh with quick charging support 2.0 and runs the latest Android Nougat software.

Other extra features include a fingerprint scanner on the front and Motorola specifics such as the Moto Actions, Moto Display and Moto Voice. It will have a glossy back curved at the edges. The price of the new Moto X4 starts at € 350, and the question immediately arises - for what?
