Giants CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie remains suspended indefinitely after McAdoo meeting

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie reported to the Giants facility on Thursday morning, according to an NJ.com report, and the next step will be for the veteran corner and coach Ben McAdoo to discuss the length of his suspension.

According to ESPN, Rodgers-Cromartie said the issue stemmed from a confrontation he had with coach McAdoo during Sunday's loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

The move comes after a series of reported clashes between player and coach that culminated with Rodgers-Cromartie being told on Tuesday that he would be inactive for the Week Six game against the Broncos.

In fact, one has to wonder if Giants management is getting fed up with McAdoo, even though some of these things ailing his team are out of his control.

McAdoo is now not scheduled to speak with the media Thursday after practice, but requests have been made for that to change. Apparently Rodgers-Cromartie wasn't interested in being disciplined.

The cornerback will lose $410,000 in pay for each week he is suspended, up to four weeks, per the league's collective bargaining agreement. We had a conversation that was personal, upstairs, and he came in today.

McAdoo said his team had a great practice Wednesday when asked about the possibility of losing the team's confidence in him. I was suspended way before I left.

Rodgers-Cromartie was fourth on the team with 26 tackles. "I left [because] I felt what he said was BS".
